I'm an independent Morrisby trained careers adviser.
I graduated from University of London (SOAS) in 1991 and taught English in Tokyo for a year before completing the 2 year Diploma in Careers Guidance in South Wales.
I worked for Mid Glamorgan and Oxfordshire Careers Services for 6 years, in schools, colleges and a prison.
Then I trained as an Alexander Technique teacher and set up Swimming Without Stress with Cheryl Cross. We've run our residential swimming course in Wales since 2001, helping people who are fearful in water. We've been featured in The Independent, The Guardian and the Telegraph. We also run an online swimming shop.
I've never lost interest in careers education and guidance and I've helped my own 4 children, and friends, through key career decisions.
But until Covid19, which has hindered my hands on work in and out of the water, I haven't had time to offer careers guidance professionally.
In 2020 I've found myself with time on my hands and got to grips with Zoom. I come to this project with renewed enthusiasm and I look forward to helping you with your next step.
